TranSplice™ is designed to provide faster and easier installation of Cell Reach® low loss 50-ohm coaxial cable. Designed with 70% fewer parts, TranSplice™ ensures reliable connections from the start and eliminates over or under-wrenching – a common failure of current connectors. With its simple, three-piece, solderless design, and existing Cell Reach™ cable preparation tools, TranSplice offers the fastest and most reliable connectorization solution in the industry. The simple yet rugged design ensures robust, weatherproof connections the first time, reducing connectorization error and future maintenance needs.
TranSplice™ connectors are manufactured to the highest standards using a durable nickel-plated exterior finish and silver-plated contact surfaces to achieve superior electrical performance. TranSplice™ connectors, used with Cell Reach transmission line systems, have consistently demonstrated better than 28dB loaded return loss and 40dB distance-to-fault performance in preliminary field tests.

Also, CommScope Wireless introduces the next evolution in connector design. The 1873 B-Series Connector is a two-piece construction designed for quick and consistent termination while maintaining superior performance.

The 1873 PT Prep Tool eliminates the need to remove the adhesive from the cable outer conductor. The one-piece construction provides quick and consistent cable preparation. Installers can manually operate the tool using the t-handle or use an 18-volt drill.
